Traditionally, St. Andrew’s supports a number charitable efforts, before and during the Advent season. These include Pikangikum native reserve, Evangel Hall, and a number of local individuals and families with Christmas Baskets. We do this by raising funds.

• We send Wal-Mart cards to Colleen Estes, a mission worker who distributes them to families in Pik because Wal-Mart delivers to Pik.

• We purchase PC Cards for local support to allow purchases from Loblaws, No Frills and Shoppers Drug Mart.

• We purchase waterproof gloves and hats for Evangel Hall from a discount warehouse, as these items are always needed.

We are beginning our campaign starting after Remembrance Day and it will continue until Sunday, December 15th. This will allow us to purchase gift cards in time to get them to all of the people who need them.

People wishing to contribute can do so by directing their donation towards Christmas Care.
